My family

Here are a few pictures of my family. Unfortunatly the reason we got together was for the death of my Grandpa and his wife Carol. They died 1 week apart. Everyone says that is romantic. I agree.

Now here is my sisters blog. Let me tell something about her. For some reason we have a great bond. Even though she is the youngest of the family she is the one I look up to the most. I remember as a kid helping take care of her. Getting her ready for dance and school when my parents had to work. I love her as much as my own daughter. And that is saying alot. She is the glue to our extended family. Anyhow she has a great husband and a beautifull daughter.

My sister niki helped my daughter Sierra start a blog about herself I have to add a link to this. She is so awesome. My whole life revolves around her. It is a shame that my work takes me away from home part of the month and I don't get to see her everyday but our time is precious together.

How long has it been?

Here I am in Houston after a 2 week work marathon. I have received emails and comments for me to update my blog. Every once in a while I get motivated to tell my story kind of like a journal of my life. Now I understand my dad's ambition to keep writing about what is happening in his life. Maybe one day someone might read it and understand his life and thoughts. To be honest and go into detail about everything I will have to write it in hopes that it wont be read til I'm gone or comfortable enough for those to see. In the mean time I will have to edit the contents a little. I have been working on my house to get ready to sell since the end of my safari vacation. I really haven't even had the time to do the ritual of going to my parents every sunday which I really enjoy. It was a goal of mine when I got divorced 8 or 9 years ago to keep my parents in Sierra's life. So that is a perfect time to do that. Now that the house is on the market I have alot more time....i hope to concentrate on other things such as getting myself back in shape and relaxing in the mountains. One inspiration I had tonight is I want to get out a map of the world and mark down all the places in the world that I've been and a few cool experiences I've had there. Some stories are little some big that no one has heard of. I need to find a way to share my videos of my South Africa trip. They are so amazing...photos can't describe the whole experience.
